RVEPTO Read-A-Thon Fundraiser
The RVEPTO will be hosting a read-a-thon in place of the fun fair this spring. The read-a-thon will start on Monday 5/3 and run through 5/14. There will be two different ways for students to earn prizes: donations and reading. Once parents register their child they will be able to log minutes read each day. Students will have a goal to read 20 minutes each day. The RVEPTO will run a report every day and if student reading minutes were logged, they will earn one trip to treasure chest A. The other way to earn rewards will be based on donations earned. This reward will be a trip to treasure chest B. The top reader and fundraiser in each class will earn a special prize. If both elementary schools reach their collective goal of $4000 then the students will get to help tape Mr. Z and Mrs. Baumgartner to the gym walls!!! Please see the letters for information on registering students. Let’s get ready to read!!
We need all parents to complete 3 easy steps:
- Register your Child by visiting www.getmovinfundhub.com It’s free, easy, and fast to register! For School Identifier use 5d4864e4c35af
- Email and/ or Text your child’s student fundraising webpage with 10-15 friends and family. It’s super easy!
- Post on Facebook or Twitter It’s two clicks of a button to post. The average parent has 300 FB friends. You’ll be surprised when donations come in from distant relatives/friends from HS/co-workers. Post and see what happens!

The RVMS Robotics Team, The Firebolts presented to the Three Oaks Elementary 5th grade students this past week. This was done for recruiting purposes in hopes of spurring interest in joining the Robotics Team for the 21-22 school year. The middle school students did an amazing job with their presentation and really displayed the passion that they have for the team and what it takes to develop, build, and maintain a functional robot (named Jeff) capable of competing in various events. The future is very bright for “The Firebolts!”
RVE Vegetable Planting
All RVE students recently participated in our annual tradition of planting vegetables. This event is done in collaboration with organizers of the Three Oaks Community Garden. All students had the opportunity to plant a variety of peppers and tomatoes which are currently growing in both elementary buildings. In a few weeks, all elementary students will receive the tomato or pepper plant that they started from seed to take home and plant themselves. Thank you to Mrs. Baumgartner and our TO Community Garden volunteers for always making this a fun and interesting event for our students.
According to our attendance procedures, it is important that families contact the school when students will be absent along with the reason for the absence. Please remember to give your child’s school office a call in the morning if they will not be in school.

Each family pass costs $150 and is good for all home sports in all seasons! It is a great bargain for your family and a one-time cost for the whole year!
