Standards-based grading measures your student’s mastery of the reported standards for a class, or how well your student understands the material in class.
The goal of this approach is to provide the teacher, student, and parent as accurate a picture as possible of the student’s learning and to encourage a dialogue about how the student can master the material for the class.

The physical would include all sports for next school year. In order to participate in a sport or to begin practice your child MUST have a physical and your insurance information on file. Advance registration with pre-payment is required and going on now in the RVMHS office.
Cost is only $30. Cash or checks are accepted and if writing a check it should be made payable to: Lakeland Medical Practices (LMP) and please write the students name in the memo line. Take advantage of this opportunity since it assures you that your child will be all set to begin their sport for next school year.
Athletic Event Tickets
Purchase tickets for home and away games in the library. The student cost is $2.00 for away games and $3.00 for home games. With the money you save, you can buy snacks at the game.
See Mrs. Flick in the library to get your tickets.
Season Sport Passes
If you are planning on coming to many sporting events at River Valley it might be a good idea to consider our family pass ticket option. This pass allows admission for everyone in the immediate family to enter all RV athletic events by simply showing the pass or telling the ticket taker the number for your pass.
Each family pass costs $150 and is good for all home sports in all seasons! It is a great bargain for your family and a one-time cost for the whole year!
