Power Announcement
We use Power Announcement to notify staff, students, and parents of a school closing.  Please contact the office with any changes in phone, address, or email.  Read this letter from Mr. Kearney to set up personal preferences:

WorldBook Online
River Valley Elementary students have access to WorldBook Online. Our students use this online resource during computer lab.  worldbookonline.com/
The River Valley login is: rivervalley11 and our password is: mustangs.

"It's Elementary" – is our very own radio show every Monday on WRHC, 106.7 FM. It is broadcast at 7:30 am and then rebroadcast the same day at 4:00 pm. If you can’t find it on the radio WRHC streams live at radioharborcountry.org

Our annual RV Challenge is just around the corner, June 2nd!! RV Challenge is our year-end field day and is held at the Chikaming campus and we are looking for help. Our kdg thru 2nd grade students will participate in the morning session from 8:30 am - 10:15 am and our 3rd thru 5th graders will ride the bus to Chikaming to participate from 12:00 noon thru 1:30 pm. If you are on our approved volunteer list and are able to help in either or both sessions (showing up 15-30 min before the session is scheduled to begin), please give either office a call or send in a note telling us what part of the day you will be able to help and we will add you to our day.

Preschool & Kindergarten Registration
It is time to get your 4 or 5 yr old registered for Preschool and Kindergarten! If your child will be 4 or 5 by September 1st please stop at either campus during the school day to enroll your child for the 15-16 PreSchool & Kindergarten school year. If you have any questions, please call either campus office.

Recycle
We need your help! Want to support our school and Recycle your used ink cartridges, laser cartridges and old cell phones? It is easy… just send any of those items in to the school. We will send them in for recycling and receive cash back to use for items for our school. Please call the school if you have any questions.
